MONZA CLUB UNESCO has signed on 09.11.2009 with High School Zucchi a memorandum of understanding by which among other things CLUB is committed to organizing cultural events and meetings are open to students in particular, to undertake initiatives common to exploit the opportunities offered by our country and to promote the knowledge of the historical-cultural and local art.

A first initiative was scheduled for next November: in fact in the Great Hall of the High School will be held a conference where a young scientist and a theologian, both of international importance, each for their skills, articulate their thoughts in the theme "The challenges of science and the human paradigm."

"UNESCO World Forum on culture and cultural industries"

The President of UNESCO Club MONZA received on September 15, 2009 directly from Madame Françoise Rivière Assistant Director General for Culture of UNESCO's invitation to participate in the Forum, the document presentation and the provisional program of the event to be held in Monza September 24 to 26, 2009.

The MONZA CLUB UNESCO will examine the results of the Forum UNESCO-CULTURE and send your contribution to any ideas, suggestions and evaluations.

MONZA CLUB UNESCO has organized on October 17, 2009, a gospel concert to be held in Monza, in the fourteenth century church of St. Peter Martyr, to gather funds for the reconstruction of the Basilica of Santa Maria di Collemaggio in L'Aquila, declared UNESCO in 2003, "World Monument messenger of peace."
